High Fibre Meal Planner for Children - Day 6

Many of the adult meals can be adapted for children using smaller portions: however, these menus are suited to less developed palates.

To drink: Only fresh fruit juices, such as apple, orange grape or pear. Vegetable juices such as tomato or mixed vegetables, at least 6 small paper cup-sized drinks of water per day.

Breakfast
Home-made muesli (20g oats, 15g flaked almonds, 3 dried apricots, chopped, sprinkling sunflower seeds, 200ml skimmed milk) topped with half an apple, grated.
5.5g fibre
Mid morning snack
Small pot fat free plain bio yogurt with tbs. sultanas.
1.4g fibre
Lunch
Sandwich made from 2 slices granary bread, half sliced avocado, 3 finely crushed walnuts, vinaigrette dressing.
7g fibre
Snack
Apple
2.2g fibre
Dinner
3.6g fibre

4.5g fibre

3g fibre

23.6g fibre or
22.7g fibre
