High Fibre Meal Planner for Children - Day 3

Many of the adult meals can be adapted for children using smaller portions: however, these menus are suited to less developed palates.

To drink: Only fresh fruit juices, such as apple, orange grape or pear. Vegetable juices such as tomato or mixed vegetables, at least 6 small paper cup-sized drinks of water per day.

30g Fruit ‘n'Fibre cereal, 200ml semi skimmed milk, topped with a sliced banana
4.3g fibre
Mid morning snack
Celery and carrot sticks with dsp half fat cream cheese.
4.5g fibre
Lunch
Home-made lentil soup small wholegrain bread roll.
6.4g fibre
Snack
Carrot and celery sticks with a cream cheese and chive dip.
3.2g fibre
Dinner
Chicken breast in a white sauce, served on pureed carrots and broccoli stems
Winter Fruit Salad* with 1 scoop ice cream.
3.5g fibre

10.1g fibre
